And then there were four.
The teams in the NFL Conference Championships shouldn’t come as a surprise. The round of upsets that defined the 2024 Wildcard Weekend did not continue the trend through the NFL Divisional Weekend.
While the Eagles, Cowboys, Dolphins, and Browns were all knocked out in the first week of the 2024 NFL Playoffs, the Divisional Round games were less disruptive.
Three odds favorites — the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions — all won their games. However, 2 of those games ended by intercepting the underdogs en route to a W or OT.
And the Bills may have been the favorites over the Chiefs, but the game saw 5 lead changes and ended with “Wide right!” as the Bills failed to tie it up on a gusty day in Highmark Stadium. And seeing as the Chiefs are headed to their 6th straight AFC Championship game, the outcome is hardly surprising.

Which networks have the NFL Conference Championships?
The NFL Playoffs for the 2023-2024 season were broadcast in English by NBC, CBS, FOX, and ESPN/ABC. But only 2 of these get a piece of the Conference Championship pie:
CBS and FOX
The CBS game will be simulcast on the network’s streaming platform, Paramount+, while you’ll need a live TV streaming service to watch the game on FOX. The Spanish language feed for the NFC Championship game is on FOX Deportes.
NFL Conference Championships schedule
Both NFL Conference Championship games are on Sunday, January 28.
The four teams in the 2024 NFL Conference Championships have won a combined total of 10 Super Bowls. However, one of them has never even been in the big game. As the Lions seek their first-ever Super Bowl appearance, here’s where you can watch history (possibly) be made.
AFC Championship Game
Sunday, January 28, 3:00 PM (ET): Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens
The AFC Championship game between the Chiefs and Ravens will be broadcast on CBS and simulcast on Paramount+.
NFC Championship Game
Sunday, January 28, 6:30 PM (ET): Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers
The NFC Championship game between the Lions and 49ers — who have five Lombardi Trophies — will be broadcast on FOX and simulcast in Spanish FOX Deportes.
Where to watch the Conference Championships
Here’s where to watch every game in the NFL Divisional Round according to broadcaster and which streaming services carry them.
AFC Championship game on CBS & Paramount+
Sunday, January 28, 3:00 PM (ET): Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens
The 3-time winning Chiefs visit the #1 ranked Ravens, who have 2 Super Bowl titles of their own. The game is being broadcast on CBS and simulcast on Paramount+.
These are the live TV streaming services with CBS:
If you don’t have one of the above live TV streaming services, there’s a 7-day Paramount+ free trial, which means you can watch the AFC Championship game for free. If you’ve already had a Paramount+ free trial, it’s only $6 for a single month, which is a lot cheaper than any of the live TV streaming services.
NFC Championship game on FOX
Sunday, January 28, 6:30 PM (ET): Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers
The Lions-Niners game is being broadcast on FOX in English and FOX Deportes in Spanish. FOX doesn’t have an on-demand streaming service, which means you’ll need a live TV streaming service to watch this game without cable.
These are the live TV streaming services that have FOX:
NFL Conference Championships on official league platforms
There are 2 official leagues platforms for watching live NFL games without cable satellite: NFL+ and NFL Game Pass. However, both come with come major caveats. So they’re definitely not for everyone.
Watch NFL Playoffs on Game Pass

DAZN locked in a deal with the NFL to deliver NFL Game Pass for the next decade. (Yippee.)
It’s got both NFL Conference Championship games live as well as the Super Bowl. The major caveat is that it’s not for the league’s biggest, most loyal audience (Americans), so you need a VPN to sign up, sign in, and watch the games.
The price has been cut so NFL Game Pass is only around $20 for the postseason.

NFL+ is the second official way to watch the NFL Conference Championship games online. It’s only $7/month, which gets you both Championship games and the Super Bowl.
CAVEAT: You can only watch NFL+ on mobile devices. So, yeah, definitely not for everyone.
