Fallout (2024)

Fallout is the new gold standard in TV and movie adaptations of video games. Unlike HBO’s video game adaptation of The Last of Us—which is also incredible—Prime Video got really original.

Instead of simply adapting one of the story lines from one of games in the Fallout series, the show has created new characters and new story for the Fallout universe. However, it all falls within the timeline of the game series and, most importantly, it stays true to the lore.

As a Prime Video Original, Fallout is currently only available on Amazon’s streaming platforms. You can catch the first episode for free on Freevee, but the rest will require a Prime Video subscription.

The good news is the Prime Video free trial is one of the best free trial in the industry.
