February 3, 2024

Ready to watch the Grammys? Music’s biggest night of the year caps off this weekend.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards may not be graced with a performance by Taylor Swift—who heads to Japan for 4 consecutive nights at the Tokyo Dome—but it’s still a star-studded night.

(And most people are more curious about whether the pop superstar can make it to Vegas for boyfriend Travis Kelce’s 4th Super Bowl appearance.)

Here’s all you need to know about how to watch the Grammys without cable in 2024.

When are the 2024 Grammys?

The 66th Grammy Awards are Sunday, February 4, 2024. For the 2 big time zones they are at:

  • 5 to 8:30 PM (PT)
  • 8 to 11:30 PM (ET)

If you want to watch the “pregame” events leading up to awards, you can watch them live and for free on Grammys YouTube channel or on live.grammy.com, which will also let you watch performances and highlights.

The lead-in events are scheduled as follows

  • 66th Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony: 12:30PM (PT) | 3:30 PM (ET)
  • Grammy Live From the Red Carpet: 3 PM (PT) | 6PM (ET)

How to stream this year’s Grammy Awards

Stream the Grammys live on Paramount+

The 66th Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on CBS and simulcast live on the television network’s streaming platform Paramount+.

Which Paramount+ plan do you need to watch the Grammys live?

The live simulcast of the 66th Grammy Awards will only be available to people subscribed to the Paramount+ with Showtime plan. It’s the premium plan that includes the live feed of your local CBS affiliate, additional sports, and ad-free on-demand movies and TV shows.

However if you’re subscribed to the Paramount+ Essential plan, you can still watch The 66th Grammys on-demand the following day.

If you don’t have Paramount+ check out the 2 articles linked in the box below for more about Paramount+ plans, free trials, and discounts.

Other ways to stream the Grammys live

Of course, you don’t need Paramount+ to stream the Grammys live. You just need a live TV streaming service that include CBS in its channels lineup.

These are the live TV streaming services with CBS:

If you don’t have any of these streaming services, you can get a free trial with all of them except Hulu + Live TV.

The DirecTV Stream free trial is 5 days, the Fubo free trial is 7 days, and the YouTube TV free trial ranges from 7 to 30 days depending on the time of year.

Check out our YouTube TV Review and DirecTV Stream Review for more on each service.

Who is hosting the Grammy Awards in 2024?

This year’s Grammy Awards will once again be hosted by Trevor Noah. And if you’re wondering how many times Trevor Noah has hosted the Grammys, the answer is 3. So this is will be his 4th time hosting the award show.

That puts him just 1 behind LL Cool J, who’s in 3rd place for hosting the Grammy Awards 5 times. John Denver has hosted it 6 times, while Andy Williams has hosted the most Grammy Awards, with 7 stints as the master of ceremonies.

It is easily the most nerve-wracking thing that I do, but I love it every single time.
