One of the key differences between cable TV and streaming is screen limits. You can plug in as many TVs as you want to cable and watch a different channel on every set. But every streaming service has limits on the number of simultaneous streams you can watch at once.
Here’s all you need to know about the number of Paramount+ screens you can watch at the same time as of February 2024.

How many Paramount+ screens can you watch at once?

You can watch three simultaneous devices on Paramount+.
Unlike some streaming services that lock more concurrent streams behind higher-priced tiers, it doesn’t matter which Paramount+ plan you have. Both plans let you watch 3 simultaneous screens.
You can also connect as many devices as you want to Paramount+, something that some other streaming services restrict. Just keep in mind that your concurrent screens are counted across all devices. (It’s important to keep track of these for reasons we’ll get to below.)

Do downloads count against your Paramount+ screen limit?
The good news is that watching downloaded movies and shows on your mobile device doesn’t count against your Paramount+ stream limit. It’s still always good to make sure your device in airplane mode when watching downloads from any streaming service so they don’t count against your stream limit.
However, you will need the premium price plan, Paramount+ with Showtime, because the cheaper ad-supported Paramount+ Essential plan doesn’t allow downloads.

How to know when someone’s watching your Paramount+
If you’re watching Paramount+ on a mobile device you may get a warning explaining that you have reached your maximum concurrent screens allowed.
However, if you’re watching on a browser or TV, you might just get a numbered error code telling you that the video is unavailable. You can check out the official list of Paramount+ error codes, but the advice for most of them is to simply restart your device.
How to stop someone from watching your Paramount+
You see an error code and check your devices. Problem solved.
Maybe.
But what do you do if it’s not you that’s watching and using up all of your simultaneous devices? Maybe you logged in at a friend’s or family member’s house. Or a hotel or Airbnb. Or even worse—your ex is still logged in.
Can you sign out of all Paramount+ devices at once?
Unfortunately, there is no way to control—or boot off—the other devices watching your Paramount+ account. Unlike Netflix, there is no Sign out of all devices option on Paramount+. (Although there definitely should be.)
This is why we said above that it’s important to keep track of which devices sign in to your Paramount+ account.
The only way to do kick people off your Paramount+ account is to change your password.
Other limits on Paramount+
While the limit of 3 Paramount+ screens is about the industry standard—and better than many competitors—there are some other account limits you may want to be aware of.
How many devices can you download Paramount+ videos on?
While the number of titles you can download is capped at 25, the number of devices you can download movies and TV shows on Paramount+ is unlimited.
That’s a lot better than many other on-demand streaming services.

How many Paramount+ profiles can you make?
You can create up to 6 profiles on Paramount+, including the main profile.
Each profile gets its own watch history and personalize recommendations. However, they don’t get their own stream limits. Sorry! They all count against your Paramount+ concurrent streams limit.
Can you add more streams to Paramount+?
Nope.
Both Paramount+ price plans let you watch 3 concurrent streams. There is no add-on to increase the number of screens you can watch at once.
