In 25 words or less, what is NFL+?
NFL+ is an official streaming service of the NFL. You can watch live NFL games and replays, depending on which plan you get.
When did NFL+ launch?
The NFL launched its new streaming service in 2022. More specifically, NFL+ launched on July 25th, 2022. Way back then it cost just $4.99/month for the standard plan and $9.99/month for the premium. But times have changed.
Does NFL+ have live football games?
Yep. That’s its main focus.

Which live NFL games can you watch with NFL+?
Which NFL games you can watch live depends on where they are (ie: local, national, or out-of-market) and when they are (ie: prime-time and which part of the season they’re in). They are as follows:
Preseason NFL games
You can watch every out-of-market NFL game live with NFL+, regardless of which plan you have.
Regular season NFL games
When the regular season starts, you can only watch local NFL games and the national NFL prime-time games live.
Postseason NFL games
You can watch all the NFL postseason games live with NFL+. That includes the Super Bowl.
Does NFL+ have replays and on-demand games?
Yes. NFL+ has ad-free replays for all NFL games. You can watch them in 3 formats: full game, condensed, and all-22 coaches film.
HOWEVER, replays and on-demand games are only available with the NFL+ Premium plan.

Can I watch NFL+ on a TV?
Yes and no.
You can NOT watch live NFL games on a TV (or a PC). Live games are strictly viewable on mobile devices – phones and tablets. (And no, workarounds like Chromecast, AirPlay, or even HDMI cables connected to your TV don’t work.)
Live games aside, the NFL+ Premium plan lets you watch on-demand replays on your TV, PC, and mobile devices.
Also, the other content – like NFL Network and NFL Originals – can be watched on any type of device, TV, PC, or mobile with both plans.

Does NFL+ have NFL Network?
Yes, both NFL+ plans include a live stream of NFL Network. That means you’ll also be able to watch the 8 NFL Network games live.
Both plans offer a range of content from NFL Originals, NFL Films, and more. You can watch hit shows like A Football Life, Hard Knocks, and Good Morning Football on your mobile device, TV, or PC.

Does NFL+ have NFL RedZone?
Yes, NFL+ has NFL RedZone, but it’s only available with the NFL+ Premium plan.
How much does NFL+ cost?
There are 2 NFL+ plans to choose from – NFL+ and NFL+ Premium.
How much does the standard NFL+ plan cost?
The standard plan, simply called NFL+, costs $6.99/month. If you pay annually, it’s $49.99/year, which works out to about $4.17/month.
However, if you’re only going to watch from September to February, paying monthly will add up to $41.94. If you add preseason, you’re still only paying $48.93 for the season. So the annual plan only makes sense if you want to watch NFL Network during the offseason.
However #2: First-time subscribers get a 20% discount off the annual plan so it’s just $39.99 for the first year. That makes paying yearly more attractive at least for the first season.
How much does NFL+ Premium cost?
The NFL+ Premium costs $14.99/month. If you pay annually, it’s $99.99/year, which works out to about $8.33/month.
Applying the same math as above, September to February will cost $89.94 if you pay monthly. Adding preseason bumps that up to $104.93, so the annual plan makes more sense for NFL+ Premium starting with the preseason rather than the offseason.
Similarly, there’s a 20% discount for first-timers and it costs just $79.99 for the first season.

What does NFL+ include?
The basic NFL+ plan includes the following content:
- Live out-of-market preseason games
- Live local and national regular season games
- Live postseason games, including the Super Bowl
- Live audio for every game
- NFL Network, NFL library programming, and more
What does NFL+ Premium include?
The basic NFL+ Premium plan includes everything in the standard NFL+ plan and the following content:
- NFL RedZone
- Game replays for all NFL games on-demand (full, condensed, and all-22 coaches film)
Does NFL+ have the Super Bowl?
Yes, you will be able to stream Super Bowl LVIII live with either NFL+ plan.
How many screens can I watch with NFL+?
You can watch up to 3 simultaneous streams with NFL+ and NFL+ Premium.
Is NFL+ worth it?
If you want to watch live NFL games on a TV, then no, it’s not really worth it. But if you work every Sunday or live in a timezone not conducive to watching live NFL games, the NFL+ Premium plan is definitely worth checking out.
What are other ways to watch live NFL games?
In addition to NFL+, the other official platforms to watch live NFL games are NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL Game Pass, and NFL Network.
You can also stream live NFL games on live TV streaming services like Fubo, DirecTV Stream, and Hulu + Live TV. You’ll also find select games on on-demand streamers like Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, and Peacock.
