NBC looks like it’s having a bit more fun now that it doesn’t need to kowtow to broadcast television censors. The lineup of new series on Peacock isn’t the lengthiest around, but most of these shows deserve a spot on your to-watch list. If you like to laugh, scream, and gasp, that is.
Here are all of the available trailers for new TV shows on Peacock in 2024.

Confirmed new series on Peacock
Ted
Seth MacFarlane’s sentient teddy bear returns for the third installment in the Ted franchise. And okay, it’s not exactly an origin story because that was covered in the first movie. But it serves as a prequel to everything aside from the brief opening scene of the 2012 comedy that made 10 times its budget, raking in a half-billion bucks at the box office.
The series is set in 1993 and Ted is forced to start attending high school with John.
Episodes run from 34 minutes to 51 minutes in length.
In the Know
Zach Woods brings his deadpan humor to the world of claymation as a public radio host ร la NPR in this satiric comedy series.
While the regular characters are all animated, there are live action real-life guests โ such as Mike Tyson โ on the show. Kind of the like what The Muppet Show did with guests back in the 1970s.
Episodes are 30 minutes each, so you can binge the entire season in just 3 hours.
- Release Date: January 25, 2024
- Format: Animated series
- Number of episodes: 6
- Release Schedule: Binge
- Genre(s): Comedy, Stop-motion animation, Adult animation

Couple to Throuple
It might come as a surprise to see a reality TV show about threesomes and polyamorous dating on Peacock, but that’s the freedom NBC gets by shunning the shackles of broadcast television.
The show will drop according to a hybrid between the binge model and weekly episodes, releasing new episodes in batches.
Apples Never Fall
Apples Never Fall is based on the book of the same name by Liane Moriarty, who also wrote Big Little Lies, which was adapted by HBO for its award-winning series in 2019.
Stan and Joy Delaney sell their prestigious tennis academy. And after 50 years of marriage, they’re ready to enjoy retirement together.
Until Joy goes missing.
Sam Neill and Annette Bening star as the couple in question. And if it’s anything like Big Little Lies, it should keep viewers glued to their screens for all 7 episodes.

Hysteria!
Horror icon Bruce Campbell joined the cast, which is reason enough to follow and ready for Hysteria!
Those About to Die
Roland Emmerich, whose $150-million film Moonfall bombed at box office in 2022, directs the series, while Anthony Hopkins portrays Roman emperor Vespasian.
The Tattooist of Auschwitz
It’s based on the true story of Lale Sokolov, with Harvey Keitel starring as the protagonist (as an old man). Jonah Hauer-King portrays Sokolov as a young man.

Day of the Jackal
According to this official post on NBC Insider, the series will update the original story as โa bold, modern reimagining of the beloved and respected novel and film.โ Furthermore, it takes place in the present day, so don’t expect a period piece that takes you back to the 1960s.
Crystal Lake
Based one of the most iconic horror franchises of all-time, the Friday the 13th prequel series offers a deeper look into the origin story of Jason Voorhees.
It reportedly takes place before the events of the first Friday the 13th, but not much more is known than that. All that Peacock’s official release give us is this: “A group of friends vacation at a house thatโs connected to a dark past.”
The first movie takes place in the summer of 1979, with flashback s to 1958 (after Jason’s drowning in 1957), so it stands to reason some of the show will occur then. But don’t expect an all-out period piece.
Writer and showrunner Bryan Fuller offered a few hints in an interview with Fangoria back in the fall of 2022, but not much else has been revealed since then. It’s definitely a show that we’ll be keeping an eye on.
